The changes to accommodate Epona’s rapid growth are as follows:

Marco Dissel, the creator and Senior Developer of Epona’s Contact Manager software, will be responsible for DMS and CRM consultancy in the Netherlands.

Marjan Hermkes-van Ham, our Senior Consultant for HP Autonomy iManage and Epona’s Contact Manager will expand her responsibilities to meet the demands for CRM in Germany. 

Marcel Lang, the creator of Epona’s DMSforLegal, will continue to support DMSforLegal in Europe. Due to strong growth in the Central, Eastern and Southern regions of Europe, he will travel between the Netherlands and Austria. Marcel will also be supporting our soon to be added technical support staff in North America, while continuing to support our U.S. Director of Sales, Keith Vallely with the faster than anticipated growth of DMSforLegal in the USA.

Weer heeft een Nederlands top50 kantoor gekozen voor DMSforLegal van Epona. Steeds meer kantoren kiezen niet alleen voor DMSforLegal maar voor een toekomst met Microsoft SharePoint. Deze oplossing van Microsoft zorgt voor een gedegen fundament waarbij advocatenkantoren gebruik kunnen maken van veel toepassingen. Ook het Haagse kantoor Ekelmans en Meijer kiest voor zo'n fundament. Dutch top law firm Kennedy Van der Laan have signed with Epona to implement their recently announced DMS4legal powered by Microsoft SharePoint 2010. After a selection process, in which other suppliers and solutions were evaluated, Joost Linnemann, Managing Partner, commented “We firmly believe that Microsoft SharePoint is the way forward for document management in law firms. Although, in many respects, SharePoint 2010 still falls short in comparison to some of the enterprise document management systems used in larger law firms today. Voor Epona was "ondanks de crisis" het jaar 2009 een super jaar. Nadat o.a. de Rabobank en Van Benthem & Keulen voor Epona en Worksite had gekozen werd in December ook door Boekel de Neree de handtekening geplaatst voor Worksite en Epona.

Het jaar 2010 belooft veel goeds gezien de grote interesse in de Document management expertise van Epona, maar ook in de CRM Oplossing Epona ContactManager  is veel vraag.

Een van mijn voornemens ( ik heb er altijd heel veel voor het jaar 2010 is dat ik deze BLOG weer wat vaker ga voorzien van de laatste nieuws op het gebied van Legal IT. 

Dus aan iedereen die wat te interessants heeft wil ik vragen om mij te mailen

Vanaf 1 januari 2010 zal Morningstarsystems verder gaan als IRIS. Uit de markt hoor ik veel geluiden over wat nu.. het ziet er namelijk naar uit dat Mstar zich meer en meer zal begeven op de markt met… IRIS producten , wat natuurlijk logisch is, want waarom koopt IRIS anders Mstar. Ook de persberichten geven duidelijk aan dat IRIS zich nadrukkelijk wil manifesteren met de eigen producten.

Natuurlijk zal dit ontkent worden want Mstar is bekend geworden door de Worksite implementaties bij advocatenkantoren. IRIS daartegen heeft eigen producten zoals DocCenter en Docshare.

De kans dat in de zeer nabije toekomst het nieuwe Mstar koers zal zetten richting de eigen IRIS Document management oplossingen en Autonomy Worksite laat voor wat het is lijkt mij dan ook zeer groot.

De persoon die binnen Mstar alle Worksite implementaties voor haar rekening heeft genomen is al weg en overgestapt naar de andere Autonomy Worksite reseller Epona.

De tijd zal het leren, gezien de laatste Worksite sucessen van Epona weet ik al wat het gaat worden.
